What a bunch of crazy monkeys! „The Music Monkeys“ are a nine-man-band full of lust for life and exuberant enthusiam for music. Spanish lyrics, affectionately arranged and sophisticated choirs for several voices swirl around reggae beats and spread Caribbean spirit and warmth. Brusque guitar sound meets sweeping latin rhythyms, hard-hitting Ska is combined with booming brass sections to finally fuse in songs, which rush into every ear immediately and makes everyone feel like dancing. The Music Monkeys were, amongst others, supported by „Che Sudaka“. The result of this collaboration is the song called „El Camino A Barcelona“, which can be found on their debut record. „El Camino“ does not only bring a lot of summer feelings into your living room, moreover it uses pointed statements (e.g. in „Shame On You“) to harshly criticize trigger-happy U.S. politicians.

However, the Music Monkeys prefer the stage to the studio, where they translate the whole energy of their first record live in concert and transform every hall into a crazy monkey show.
